If you are thinking of removing the garbage yourself, please consider the difficulties and dangers of the job. Often times people conceal sharp objects and hazardous material in trash bags. It’s not uncommon to find broken glass, paint, chemicals and needles inside the garbage. If there is food in the bags, and it’s been sitting in the hot sun, don’t be surprised to find maggots and cockroaches. The smell alone is enough to turn most people off.

If you don’t have a large enough vehicle to transport all the garbage in, you will need to rent a truck and you will have to pay a fee to dispose of the waste. The costs of the truck rental, fuel and dump fees can quickly add up. This may not be a job you wish to take on yourself.
